Moorcroft has landed another prestigious civil engineering project, this time in Warrington.
The scheme, in partnership with Addison’s Projects, is at the town’s PQ Corporation.
The civil engineering works involve infrastructure, structural reinforced concrete flooring and associated works.
Myles Platt, Managing Director of Moorcroft, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to work with Addison’s Projects on such an important project on behalf of a multinational organisation.”
PQ Corporation is a leading worldwide producer of specialty inorganic performance chemicals and catalysts.
PQ traces its beginnings to a family soap and candle business started in Philadelphia by Joseph Elkinton in 1831.
The company began producing and selling “silicate of soda” or sodium silicate in 1861 to replace rosin in soap formulations. Today, PQ is the world’s largest producer of soluble silicates.
